This wall art was found just minutes from my apartment. Curitiba has some great tiled murals up in different locations around the city. My favorite feature is the tree right in the middle– an Araucaria (Often called a “monkey-puzzle” tree). My love for Araucarias blossomed when I visited my friend Chris while he was interning on a nature reserve in the south of Chile, it was there that I ate the seeds first! The trees are all over here, and apparently you can buy the seeds at the super market!
